Nordic Mythology Guided Tour

Trolls are probably the most prominent and well-known characters of old scandinavian mythology, but there are many more.

Before electricity and modern infrastructure were introduced to the remote villages in the north, life was simpler, winters much darker and nature had a different, often more dangerous, influence on the lives lived here.

On this walk we will talk about the roll of mythological creatures in the lives of the rural population of northern Sweden and some examples of stories that were told in this specific region.

And if we get lucky, we might just get to see some elves dance.
