Culture & History Guided Tour

Long and dark winters, deep snow on the roads and short summer is what makes life and nature in northern Sweden so special. Nowadays we have access to imported fruits and vegetables and many big roads get plowed and even salted and sanded in the winter.

But what was life like before the comfort of modern technology? How did people live and get access to food throughout the year? Who were the first settlers in Sweden and what did the landscape and climate look like at the time?

We will cover these and many other questions during our 2 hour long walk through the forest in Trehörningsjö. We will take a small break about halfway through the walk, where you will have the opportunity to explore a historic site and mingle, before heading back to the Campsite.
